Your mission

We’re looking for a versatile Sr. IoT Software Engineer to develop cutting- edge solutions for IoT edge devices and signal processing. This role will focus on creating applications for Raspberry Pi and Azure IoT Edge, contributing to AI-powered anti-theft solutions, and tackling complex challenges in signal processing and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocols.

Mission / Responsibility:
  • Work closely with our hardware and embedded engineers to integrate software solutions seamlessly with the overall system
  • Develop applications in Rust and Python for edge devices (Raspberry Pi) and Azure IoT Edge environments
  • Research and develop deep learning algorithms
  • Support troubleshooting and resolving of customer issues related to edge devices and its applications
  • Conduct performance testing, profiling, and debugging to ensure code efficiency and stability
  • Maintain clear documentation of design decisions, code changes, and development processes
  • Participate in code reviews, sharing feedback to uphold best practices and code quality
  • Implement and maintain robust monitoring and alerting systems to gain real-time insights

Your Skills and Experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience as a IoT Software Engineer or similar role
  • Proficient in Rust and Python
  • Solid knowledge of Linux-based systems
  • Expertise in Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocol and signal processing is a plus
  • Familiarity with containerisation technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
  • Fundamental understanding of security best practices
  • Knowledge of Azure IoT Edge solutions is a plus
  • A self-motivated and results-oriented way of working with a passion for automation and continuous improvement
